Avaya / Voice and UC Account Executive

intlx Solutions is an experienced solution provider with high level resources experienced in Unified Communications, Network Infrastructure, Security and Virtualization. The Account Executive will be a key role to help intlx Solutions develop strategic and trusting relationships with customers. This position will primarily be focused on helping grow Avaya / Voice and UC business within the company.

Technical Consulting Job Functions / Responsibilities

  • Develop relationships with customers and decision makers within the customer base assigned to AE
  • Shows exceptional company service, product and pricing knowledge
  • Maximizes opportunities by driving the customer planning process
  • Work leads provided from marketing team
  • Outstanding presentation skills
  • Experience selling software/services is required
  • Communicates intlx Solutions products and solutions to customers effectively
  • Is willing to make calls to customers to achieve account penetration and bring new potential customers into the sales funnel
  • AE will work with Services team and account team to establish contract terms for customers
  • Is willing to make calls to customers to achieve account penetration and bring new potential customers into the sales funnel
  • Plans site visits and meeting with customers to maintain relationship
  • Accountable for a specific revenue target and sales growth within region
  • Able to work with technology partner sales representatives
  • Is able to work with minimum supervision
  • Adheres to intlx Solutions company policies and procedures when interacting with clients
  • Ability to keep a sales forecast and present to leadership

Desired Experience / Qualifications

  • Five years or more of outside direct sales experience is required
  • AE will demonstrate some technical knowledge to assist in selling to customers
  • Must be comfortable working with C level customer executives across a wide customer base
  • Essential knowledge of VoIP PBX, Contact Center and other Avaya UC products
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Working proficiency with Microsoft office products is desired
  • Experience working in telecommunications sales is required
  • Position is for MA, RI region at intlx Solutions

Education

  • 4-year college degree or equivalent experience
  • Previous partner product sales training for intlx Solutions partner portfolio
