Systems Engineer

The Systems Engineer's main mission will be to provide support of the sales team, post-sales team, and operations center for system design, network configurations, and network troubleshooting. This position offers an individual the ability to work across multiple technologies and a variety of vendor products. This role is located in Norwood, MA.

Desired Experience

Candidate will exhibit outstanding technical skills in areas of TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, security, and virtualization.
Experience with Junos operating system
VMware experience deploying virtual machines and managing virtual machine settings
Positive attitude and the ability to work well in a team environment
Ability to work with minimal supervision

Job Responsibilities

Assist on project design meetings
Work to execute projects installing / upgrading Avaya platforms with project management team or independently dependent upon project complexity
Attend regular training events and work to stay current on platform changes
Work with NOC services team to contribute lessons learned to our knowledge base

Qualifications

Juniper routing and switching experience
Google G-suite experience with Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Sheets
Ability to understand customer network environments
