Within Avaya System Manager we can create templates to help when adding users and configurations to our Avaya systems. The templates can help us be consistent when adding phone system extensions, agents, voicemail boxes and configurations to an IP Office system.
The templates can also be used to enable non system administrators to perform simple adds and changes to your Avaya system without giving them access to all data and elements on a given system. For example we can give users access to only be able to add users within a certain range of stations. This can be accomplished by adding a role and mapping the desired templates into this role.
